Ryan Murphy is again to doing what he does greatest: scaring us.

Recent off the September debut of Ratchedthe Sarah Paulson-led drama impressed by One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest—Murphy has taken to social media to tease what’s in retailer for the way forward for American Horror Story. The reply? A totally separate spinoff that already sounds prefer it’ll stay as much as a number of the greatest AHS seasons (Murder House and Coven are truthfully untouchable).

In a new poster, Murphy confirmed that the spinoff to his beloved anthology sequence is known as American Horror Tales. In contrast to the unique franchise, every episode of Tales will highlight a completely new story.

“It is the AHS spinoff,” Murphy wrote. “We’re doing 16 one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore…many of those episodes will function AHS stars you recognize and love. Extra to observe.”

The terrifying new poster for it contains a faceless lady in latex with a heart-shaped blood stain dripping from her lips. Her portrait seems like a cracked egg with a spider net woven inside. Bizarre, and really Murphy.
