DaBaby displays on his late older brother Glenn Johnson on his  just-released new challenge, My Brother’s Keeper (Lengthy Reside G).

The Charlotte rapper introduced he’d be dropping his album at the moment (Nov. 20) on Wednesday and shared the official cowl paintings and a minute snippet of the title monitor. Within the tune, DaBaby reminisces about time he spent together with his brother, who handed away at age 34 earlier this month.

“Although you was the oldest so you bought it worst / You was the oldest so you bought it first,” DaBaby raps on the monitor. “I used to be the infant so I bought it simple … Really feel like a prisoner of my thoughts, nobody to speak to / By no means let despair go unchecked, that shit’ll value you.”

In response to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, Johnson was discovered lifeless in a parking zone on Nov. 3 close to College Metropolis. Investigators consider his reason behind dying was suicide.

On Nov. 5, DaBaby tweeted concerning the significance of psychological well being consciousness.

“#MentalHealthAwareness. For those who can’t recover from despair GET HELP, you see a beloved one struggling get them assist, they refuse the assistance, MAKE em get handled anyway,” he wrote. “You endure from PTSD take that shit critical & get assist! I’m bouta get a therapist my rattling self! #LongLiveG.”
